Wonderfully fun ride for Halloween. The carriage was decorated for the season with spooky scary Halloween flare, with Halloween music playing and an eerie but fun nighttime tour through historic Mount Dora. A lot of fun and highly recommended for any seasonal celebration or non-seasonless celebration and thank you Colleen to our wonderful driver. Highly recommended.

Took my grandchildren and daughter-in-law on your carriage ride through historic Mount Dora…the Christmas lights and decorations were so beautiful, our driver Colleen was amazing, and best of all, my grandchildren were totally thrilled by the whole experience. They said they felt like real princesses and definitely made Christmas come alive for all of us…thank you to all and we will look forward to next year!!!

We really enjoyed our Historic Tour in the new six seater carriage. Jay, our driver, did an amazing job even letting us stop at the lighthouse for a couple photos. The canopy over the carriage gave shade and breeze on a warm day. My grandkids (age 3 and 6) enjoyed the tour as well. Will definitely be back again!

Old Mount Dora Carriage Company Tours We visited Mount Dora December 9th - 13th 2025. While there, we went on the Historic AND Christmas Lights tours with the Old Mount Dora Carriage Company. Colleen was our tour guide for both tours. She made the history come alive and was very knowledgeable. The night tour of Christmas lights was beautiful and showed the Christmas Spirit that Mount Dora has. The carriages reflect horse drawn carriages but they are electric, making the ride both clean and quiet so you can hear the tour guide. I highly recommend this company for great tours.

Colleen was great! She is an awesome guide & added to the historian's information. Took all of our pictures & was so sweet. I surprised my wife for Valentine's Day & she was given a beautiful red rose. This was a very informative tour. Mt. Dora is the cutest little town. So many restaurants, shops & history to explore. I highly recommend this tour. Reading other reviews & now I want to go back for Halloween & Christmas!

Highly recommend , perfect for families and kids but also great for a special date night. If you are from out of town or a resident, definitely a sight to see. We live in Mount Dora and have done 3 rides. Staff is very friendly and ride is very comfortable. If you’re thinking about doing it, just do it! My family who lives in and already knows town really loved it. My family out of state who were visiting really loved it and it is a special memory to have. BOOK IT!

A wonderful experience This is the cutest town! When you see it from the Olde Mount Dora Carriage, it makes it even better. This time of year is the best weather in Florida. Take the time to do a carriage ride. You won’t be disappointed. You learn so much about the town as well as Florida. We will be back and I hope we get to take another carriage ride.
