Old Mount Dora Carriage Company Tours We visited Mount Dora December 9th - 13th 2025. While there, we went on the Historic AND Christmas Lights tours with the Old Mount Dora Carriage Company. Colleen was our tour guide for both tours. She made the history come alive and was very knowledgeable. The night tour of Christmas lights was beautiful and showed the Christmas Spirit that Mount Dora has. The carriages reflect horse drawn carriages but they are electric, making the ride both clean and quiet so you can hear the tour guide. I highly recommend this company for great tours.

Celebrating our 37th Anniversary and decided on to include this tour... Jay, was on time, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He even remembered to take pictures for us (no extra fee, using our cellphone)! The only thing was that when I went to the website, the availability "for same day" was not shown, so had to call to find out and confirm, glad I did (and he took payment over the phone)... I can’t begin to express my gratitude for Coleen and this amazing experience! I was able to propose to the love of my life right when the sun went down and Coleen truly made it happen! Not only did she ensure we made it to my specific location in time, but she also took all the pictures!!! I highly recommend touring Mt. Dora with Coleen regardless of the occasion!
