About Us

Olde Mount Dora Carriage Company
established 2022
Olde Mount Dora Carriage Company offers electric carriage rides and romantic tours through the historic downtown of Mount Dora, Florida — proudly becoming the first city in the United States to approve electric carriages for commercial use. Founded in the 1880s, Mount Dora grew as a winter retreat for hunters, fishermen, and boaters drawn to the beauty of Lake Dora. Just an hour north of Walt Disney World, this charming lakeside town is now famous for its festivals, art fairs, antique shops, and historic architecture. Our Victorian-style, eco-friendly carriages offer a clean, quiet, and green transportation experience, allowing visitors to explore the sights, sounds, and romance of Mount Dora in a uniquely elegant way. Whether you’re planning a date night, wedding ride, or a guided historic tour, Olde Mount Dora Carriage Company delivers an unforgettable experience — we don’t horse around!
