How is your carriage different than a horse and carriage?
Well simply, there is no horse! Our carriage is driven by an electric motor rather than pulled by an animal. That means there are no foul odors and it's humane because theres no overworked horse in the Florida heat. We can operate all year round and offer many more cool experiences.
What's your cancellation policy like?
The cancellation policy may differ from below and will be available for review during your service transaction process.
In general though, customers may receive a full refund if service is cancelled outside 24 hours from start time. Customers may receive a credit voucher if cancellation is received inside 24 hours. No refund or vouchers for no-shows. Customer and driver safety is a top priority. It will be at the drivers discretion to delay or postpone service due to adverse weather conditions. Service may be delayed until weather improves unless conflicts with a previously scheduled service. The driver will reschedule service with concurrence of the customer. If no later time is available, customers may receive a voucher for a future date. Full refund and credit vouchers do not apply to additional added services such as wine and chocolates.

What if it rains or the weather is bad?
The carriage has a canopy over the guests to keep the rain off. However, if the weather is bad enough (eg. heavy rain, wind, lightning, etc) we will reschedule or delay service to keep everyone safe.
Are you able to take requests to go down different streets during tours?
During our historic tour we can not accept very many requests due its specialty. Our historic tour is specifically timed, narrated and approved for specific streets. We do offer other services including Carriage Rental(s) which allow for more freedom and requests for guests to experience Mount Dora.
Our carriage ride was awesome! How do I leave our carriage driver a tip for an amazing experience?
We’re glad you had an amazing experience! We do have a virtual tip jar for our team here. Make sure you include the name of the driver so we get it to the correct person. Thank you very much!
Do you have gift cards available for purchase?
Yes we do! You can purchase them here and they’re great because they can be applied to any one of our great tours and services!
How many passengers can ride at a time?
We want to provide an intimate, safe and yet comfortable experience for guests. We do have three carriages in operation- 2 four seaters and one 6 seater. We requests guests to be mindful of the carriage operational limitations but we generally can provide services to include up to 6 adults.
Am I able to take my dog or animal along for a ride?
At this point, unfortunately no. Sometime in the future we'lll reevaluate our policy. Of course service animals are allowed per the ADA.
Are you able to drop us off at our car or parking lot after our experience?
Per the city ordinance, we have two designated docking locations: Sunset Park and Lakeside Inn, in addition we are limited to which roads we can operate on, as a result we are restricted to be more of a “tourism/sightseeing” service rather than a “transportation” service. However, there are local transportation services in town that would be more than glad to assist you.
